Question by Clarence G: Why does a window air conditioner drip inside the house instead the outside?
Our fairly new room air conditioner (window mounted) is dripping water from the front of the unit (inside the room) instead of dripping outdoors. Unit is mounted leaning inward instead of outward because of the type of window it’s mounted in — unable to fix it so that it leans toward the outside. Do I need to make it lean outside to fix the problem?

Answer by Mr. Goodkat Yes, there is a reason the instructions state to mount it with it leaning outside. The water drips out by gravity.
