Bummis Waterproof Bag (Small for outings- 9″X12″)

  • These are very multi-purpose! Presumably they are to be used as waterproof bags to carry soiled diapers.
  • However, we use them for all sorts of things; bathing suits, lunches, snacks, etc. – you name it.
  • Waterproof and colorful, they close with a drawstring and toggle.
  • Please wash these bags in lukewarm water and either hang to dry or dry on air in the dryer.
  • No bleach or whitening agents. Small is purple, medium is red large is blue, XL is Purple

This is a great product for use with cloth diapers. I own three of these and always keep one in the diaper bag for storing dirty diapers. I just dump the bag in the washer with the diapers and let it hang to dry. I have had no leakage from these bags even when I have put soaking wet wash cloths in them. I would recommend this product to anyone planning to travel with a baby in cloth diapers.

We have this bag in the x-large to line the pail, the medium for daycare and the small for quick outings. It is very durable and after over a year of washing 2-3 times a week, looks as good as it did brand new. My only complaint is that the fabric is not 100% waterproof and it does kind of “sweat” when ful of wet diapers.

We use one of these bags at home, but beware they are not totally waterproof. When wet cloth diapers are stored in these, they will leak through the woven fabric. I have to keep mine stored on top of the washing machine until I do laundry so the floor under the bag does not get wet. I would not recommend traveling with this bag unless you have a way to keep everything else around it dry. I do like that this bag can be thrown in the wash with the dirty diapers though.

I use these as a liner for a hamper of used cloth diapers. They’re good enough for that purpose, but when I use the bags outside of a metal hamper (at a second home where the bag sits on the floor) there has been some seepage, so I’ve learned to put them inside a plastic trash bag. They’re probably adequate for containing things that are damp but not soaked for shorter periods, but if you need a bag for something very wet or to hold damp fabric for more than a couple hours, be aware these might not cut it.

They are very durable and have come through multiple laundry loads (machine wash, hang dry) as good as new.

I bought these to cloth diaper (small and a large) and never did. I keep small in my diaper bag. It’s great for when baby has an accedent you can put it in this and not worry about it getting everything else nasty
