What stereotype do you hate about your race?
I find that racism stems from stereotypes and want to give everyone a chance to clear up any misconceptions that others may have of them. I am tri-racial so there are tons of stereotypes for me, lol! Here are some that I found on-line:
1.) That all white women have flat behinds.
2.) That all Jews are greedy.
3.) That all blacks are lazy, on welfare, and don’t believe in marriage before child baring.
4.) That all Asians are good at math.
5.) That all Arabs are angry people that like to blow **** up.
6.) That ALL black men are hung like elephants.
7.) ALL white men are hung like squirrels.
8.) All blacks crave chicken and watermelon.
9.) All blacks are hostile and will quickly bust a cap in your ***.
10.) That all Mexicans like to drive around 15-17 deep in a small car.
11.) That all white people have bad children and do not discipline them.
12.) That all Asains like to eat rice and drive slow.
13. That all Irish people are drunks and eat potatoes.
14. Serial killers are only white.
15. Black people are aggressive and loud and use ebonics.
16. All Asians do nails.
17. Only white people do things like sky dive, swim with sharks, and ski
That is a good one Qwerty, I hate all of the stereotypes! My children look white but have black heritage and it saddens me to see what they will have to go through!

I hate the stereotype that all blacks are “prone” to violent activities most because it, above all others, is what makes it difficult for blacks (especially black men) to get certain careers. No one wants to hire someone to represent their company who is notorious for being “prone” to violence.

I am white so I must be racist or stuck up. I hate that one.
I do like racial humor as long as it is fair and actually funny, you rlist made me laugh.

Speaking for most of the cats I know I find it rather distasteful when I hear about how much we cats enjoy eating mice. I have never consumed a rodent in my life. The thought of eating a mouse disgusts me. I chase them and kill them merely for exercise and amusement, I mean let’s face it-2 hours of “here kitty-chase the yarn’ gets dreadfully boring and tedious. Another thing about cats is WE DO NOT take a baby’s breath away. iI’d like to give some fleas to whoever came up with that one. One more stereotype is about how we always land on our feet and invariably we encounter a human who wishes to test that idea. True, most of the time we will land on our feet, however I had an uncle named Fluffy who did indeed fail to do that just once and he broke a hind leg. So please dear humans we would appreciate not stereotyping all felines At least we aren’t butt sniffers like those inferior dogs.

Wow that list caused some of my brain cells to spontaneously combust. I have a mixture of native and white ancestry. I hate it that people say native people are drunks, although tons of white people are drunks, but native people are more stigmatized for it. I don’t drink at all so people say I don’t fit in because of that. It’s so irritating.

I hate the stereotypes about black women ….
Most to All black women have attitudes, are loud, and are jealous of white women…
This is shown primarily in the media .. Just because people may have come across women like this does not mean we’re all that way..
