I have used this cap almost daily for over a year. It still fits snugly and is very comfortable. Writing this review has made me think to order another one now, for the inevitable day my old one wears out.
I have a rather large head and found many caps didn’t fit comfortably. This one is very elastic and is great.

I have gone through a number of laytex caps and they all had their issues. This silicone cap is great and has been problem free.

I love the fact that with my hair as big and as thick as it (I have kinky hair), I am able to completely cover it with this cap and do not struggle much when wearing it. But I am resigning to the fact that most caps are not able to keep the back of my hair dry especially when I swim laps or other types that require my face to be submerged.

The Speedo Silicone Swim Cap will keep your hair dry. I have longer hair and wet my hair first then put a slick conditioner on. I should have left the slick conditioner off because it will make the cap want to slip off. Just wet your hair and put the cap on carefully. It will work fine. I bought several just in case I accidentally put a finger through it because it’s thin. So much better than the older bathing caps used to be!

I have long, waist length hair which I braid before going swimming. The braid fits into the cap and my hair stays perfectly dry (except for little loose ends that can’t be captures by the cap). The cap is stretchy, but fits tightly onto your head so that water doesn’t get in.

If you’re looking for a cap that will hold pretty long hair, this might be the one for you. I found it spacious enough for mine (lots of below-shoulder hair), but it does NOT keep the water out. My hair wasn’t as soaked as if I hadn’t worn anything, but it was fairly wet, not just damp. I’d like to find one for long hair that has the ribs on the inside edges, which seem to keep out water better (like windshield wiper blades), but haven’t found any in a cap that’s large enough for my volume of hair.

It’s been years since I wore a swim cap, but I’m pleased with this one. The edges of my hair get wet, but not the bulk of it, which I put up in a ponytail and then cover with the cap. Doesn’t pull my hair.

I have long hair down to my waist and this cap fits me great. I ordered two other speedo caps that don’t fit any of us here – long hair or no, and they seem too small so I’m wondering if they are defects. This one fits perfect, keeps my hair dry, and I have very long hair. If chlorine ruins your hair, get this.

I have mid-back-length hair that is very thick, and most swim caps just pop off my head. This one actually covers my entire head, forehead to nape (including ears) and has plenty of room for my hair.
It stayed on during my whole workout in the pool, and it’s easy to put on and take off. Since there’s no elastic band (like lycra caps have), it didn’t leave a red line on my forehead. Basically, it’s everything I’d want in a swim cap.
Some reviewers are interested in whether it keeps your hair dry, and the answer is that it mostly keeps water off your hair (I use a swim cap to avoid chlorine damage) but I wouldn’t trust anything short of a magical force field to keep hair totally dry.

I bought this for my wife, who is a casual swimmer. She has long hair, about to her lower back, and between the two of us we just couldn’t get this swim cap to fit over her long hair; it was just too small. Perhaps by “Longer hair” they mean shoulder length hair. We were both disappointed.
