What are the best neighborhoods in/near Summerville, SC?

Question by Jimmy: What are the best neighborhoods in/near Summerville, SC?

My family and I are moving to the North Charleston area. We are looking at Summerville because I read this was a nice area. 1st – are there other nice areas close to North Charleston? Also, what are the best neighborhoods and schools in this area? We are looking for families in their 30s with children and houses roughly around 5,000 – to 0,000 in a sub division that is fairly new with decent yards. Please let me know your suggestions. Summerville is nice especially when the Azaleas are in bloom. You should look at Daniel Island and the communities east of the Cooper River in and around Mt. Pleasant. Those areas would get you close to the beach (Isle of Palms and Sullivans Island) than Summerville.
